Cynthia Tyler is a native of Southern California. She is the author of Descanso (Haworth Press, 2005), Shadow Work (Haworth Press, 2006), Finding Polaris (Yellow Dog Books, 2010), and High Dive (Yellow Dog Books, 2011). Her work has been featured in the online magazine, The Baseball Chronicle and appears in the anthology, Queer Girls in Class (Peter Lang Publishing, 2010). She lives in the Los Angeles area with her partner and their two golden retrievers, Athena and Kip.
